SHIPTEC China was founded in 1992, form 1998, it was determined to hold every two years, and was officially called SHIPTEC China since then. After 10 years of cultivation and development, SHIPTEC China has become the largest maritime exhibition held in China every two years.
The number of registration in this institutions exhibition is 438, the net area of exhibition is 9300 square meters (convert into the number of standard booth is 1029), and the total area of exhibition is more than 23 thousands square meters. Among all of the exhibitors, 129 are from foreign countries and 255 booths were reserved. Set up 8 exhibition areas, i.e. international exhibition area, equipment exhibition area, supporting equipment exhibition area, ship financing exhibition area, maritime culture exhibition area, maritime information services exhibition area, shipbuilding industry introduction of Liaoning exhibition area and scientific & technological achievements exhibition area.
260 supporting enterprises from home and abroad participate in the exhibition, involving marine power, electrical appliances, outfitting, guiding, process and material fields. Caterpillar, MAN, DAFA diesel engine Qingdao HAIXI Marine Diesel Co., Ltd, Shanxi Diesel Engine Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, Dalian Marine Diesel Co., Ltd, CRRC Dalian Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Diesel Engine Co., Ltd, Changchun A&Z Science Co., Ltd, Zibo Diesel Engine Parent Company, ZGPT Diesel Co., Ltd and Sichuan CSR YUCHAI Engine Co., Ltd, and many other enterprises that play leading roles in ship power field took part in the exhibition, demonstrated the latest technology and results of ship engine. ABB, FEIN, Hangzhou Advance Gearbox Co., Ltd, Ziyang CSR Co., Ltd, ProCo, Qinhuangdao Beifang Marine Parts & Machinery Imp. & Exp Co., Ltd and Xinyuan Trading Company are also actively involved.
Seven members of IACS attend this exhibition, including ABS, CCS, ClassNK, DNV, GL, KR, RINA etc.
